ABOUT MATT
A native of Grass Valley, CA, Matt began the journey to a professional racing career at the age of 8 by competing in mini cart racing. In 2009, Matt made his Xfinity Series debut at the Memphis Motorsports Park for Joe Gibbs Racing. That race led to Matt competing part-time for Joe Gibbs Racing during the 2010 season. Matt made his NASCAR Cup Series debut in 2015. In Matt’s seven years of Cup racing, he made 248 Cup series starts, recording 31 Top-Ten finishes.
In 2022, Matt took the Helm of the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado for Rackley WAR Racing. Matt finished the season with 1 Win and 7 Top Tens. After a second season in the Craftsman Truck Series in 2023, Matt moved over to the Xfinity Series where he currently drives the No. 38 Ford Mustang for Viking Motorsports.
