August 28, 2016: Pure Michigan 400

Matt DiBenedetto started the No. 83 Vector Security Toyota in p34 and finished p32 at the Pure Michigan 400. The car struggled with a brake problem early in the race, forcing Matt to pump the brake pedal on the straightaways so he could actually have enough force to slow it down from 210mph to 170mph for the turns. He had no brakes left at the end of the race. Matt did a great job and finished the race without incident. Congratulations to Kyle Larson on his first win!
